Living it Loving it Ltd announces new venue for the Prague Poker Festival
Europe's largest poker festival returns to the Czech capital
Prague, Czech Republic (July 29, 2013)- Gaming event management and consultancy, Living it Loving it Ltd., announces the official return of the Prague Poker Festival. Taking place from December 5 - 22, the 2013 poker calendar is set to end on a high with over 2,000 players expected to descend on the Czech capital.
Spread across 18 days, this year's festival moves to the heart of the city, taking place at Prague's much-loved Card Casino with accommodation at Andel's Hotel.
The event schedule brings together a host of Europe's record breaking tournaments including the highly anticipated bwin WPT Prague Main Event (567 runners in 2012) and The Grand Live (590 runners in 2012). The World Sit 'n' Go Masters (WSM) also re-joins the festival with a new and enhanced event structure, with 888poker also returning with yet another event following resounding success in 2012.
Now in its third year, the Prague Poker Festival is quickly becoming the festival to be a part of, and is continuing to attract new main and side events. One new event this year is the Amateur Poker Association and Tour's ECOAP Main Event, which opens the festival on Thursday 5 December.
Dave Brannan, CEO of Living it Loving it Ltd. believes playing poker in December has become synonymous with Prague, "Simply put, if you love everything poker then the only place to be in December is Prague. We've listened to the players and freshened things up to deliver even greater playing value, so expect more people, more tournaments and even more prize money."
Brannan continues, "This year also sees the return of the Prague Mind Sports Festival, so players will be able to mix things up once again and put their skills to the test at other games such as Magic: the Gathering, eSports, Chess and Scrabble to name just a few."
